The world famous Squier Affinity Precision Bass PJ has been given an upgrade and is now better than ever before. Featuring classic P-Bass styling paired with newly-voiced pickups, there has never been a better gateway into the Fender family.
The Affinity Precision Bass features a slim, lightweight poplar body in the iconic P-Bass shape This is paired with a comfortable, satin finished, 'C' profiled neck capped with either a maple or laurel fretboard (dependent on finish). The fretboard is home to 20 medium jumbo frets and inlaid with dot position markers. The headstock has been tweaked, and now also features updated logos and a gloss finish.
The P Bass delivers its wide range of bass tones with the help of a pair of newly-voiced Ceramic Pickups - a Ceramic Single Coil Jazz Bass Pickup in the bridge position and a Ceramic Split Single Coil in the neck position. These are wired through a pair of volume controls and a master tone control.
Tuning is kept solid with a set of vintage-style tuners whilst a standard 4 saddle bridge keeps intonation in check.
