Staying true to its roots, the Vintera II 70s Competition Mustang features the iconic downsized Mustang body, complete with its eye-catching "Competition Stripes", paired with a 24" short scale neck. The neck is constructed from maple, carved into a highly playable early-70s C shaped profile, and is topped with a slab rosewood fingerboard with a period correct 7.25" radius and 22 vintage-tall style frets.
Fender have loaded the Vintera II 70s Competition Mustang with a pair of vintage 70-style Mustang pickups, full of that classic warm, sparkly, woody tone that Fender are famous for. The pickups are wired through classic pickup slider switches and master volume / tone controls.
Another welcome addition is vintage style Mustang floating tremolo and bridge, giving you access to classic tremolo sounds and classic string bending effects.
Other features include vintage style tuners, a 4-ply aged white pearloid pickguard and a 4-bolt neck plate.
