Gibson have captured the heritage of early L-00 models with this guitar whilst adding deeper resonance and pleasant top end thanks to the solid sitka spruce top being paired with solid rosewood for the back and sides of the body. The guitar features a classy Rosewood Burst finish complete with gloss nitrocellulose lacquer.
Unique to this model is the 12-fret neck join, there to aid playing comfort and deliver enhanced midrange tone and responsiveness that only a 12-fret neck can deliver. The neck itself is crafted from mahogany and features a comfortable, SlimTaper profile which is topped with a rosewood fingerboard set with Mother of Pearl dot inlays and 19 frets.
Wonderful as a straight acoustic, the L-00 Rosewood 12-Fret also comes equipped with the LR Baggs VTC electronic system, with discrete soundhole control, for easy amplification.
Other appointments include the Grover open back tuners and a TUSQ nut for solid reliable tuning stability.
