Constructed from a traditional solid mahogany body and featuring the classic double cutaway design with a large 5-ply 'batwing' pickguard, the Epiphone SG Standard delivers iconic looks and charm.
The body is married to a solid mahogany neck that has been carved into 60s SlimTaper neck profile. The neck is then topped with a laurel fingerboard with 12" radius and hosts 22 medium jumbo frets and trapezoid inlays. The 24.75" scale, 1.693" nut width, and Grover Rotomatics tuners complete the traditional feel and look.
The guitar is powered by a pair of Alinco Classic Pro humbucker that are wired through the traditional 3-way pickup selector and 4 knob configuration - 2 x volume and 2 x tone. Combined, this classic setup gives you access to those classic SG tones, full of snarling power, sustain and SG growl.
